Born and raised in Taiwan, Shao Wang started showing her talent in arts at a very young age. But it was not until she came to the US to attend graduate school that she finally had a chance to take design and art classes of her dream.

After earning her master's degree in Urban Design, Shao settled down in the San Francisco Bay Area and freelanced graphic design projects for small businesses until her two children were born.

In 2003, with her children in elementary school, Shao began to think about expanding her horizons and achieving something she has always dreamed of: to see her own products on the shelf of American stores. Because she loves to make cards and crafts, when she opened her design studio, Seesaw Graphics, in the spring of 2004, she focused on drawing images, designing and producing rubber stamps for craft industry. After one-and-a-half year later, Seesaw Graphics now offers more than 280 original images and its stamps are displayed in 25 retail stores, mostly in the west coast, along with its own online store.
