New Exhibitor’s Dream-Come-True Story Distinguishes its Stamps from the Rest of the Market

Las Vegas, NV-January 30, 2006- Seesaw Graphics, a young design studio specializing in Chinese character-themed stamps, is proud to exhibit at CHA Las Vegas in 2006 for the first time.

Since its inception in 2004, Seesaw Graphics has added more than 270 original images to its stamp collection. It tries to differentiate itself among the myriad stamp manufacturers by incorporating Chinese characters as meaningful arts and charming graphics into most of its designs, and the results are a beautiful blend of whimsicality and harmony.

These results come from the dream-come-true story of Seesaw Graphics’ creative director, Shao Wang, an immigrant who embraces America’s vast opportunities and who freely expresses her creativity, which seemed impossible when growing up in her native land.

“While growing up in Taiwan, I wasn’t allowed to develop my art talent further because a creative job wasn’t considered ‘decent’ at that time.” According to Shao, “After I came to the US to attend graduate school, I finally had a chance to take some art classes. That was the first time I felt that America was the place where dreams may one day come true.”

For Shao, that day came a decade later, in the Spring of 2004. With the bloom of Asian-themed products on the market, Shao found that many Chinese characters were used inadequately. She knew she could offer something unique and genuine with her cultural background, and achieve something she had always dreamed of since the first art class she took at Michigan State: to see her own products on the shelves of American stores.

The rest of Shao’s story was all hard work. Before coming to this show, Seesaw Graphics’ stamps were displayed in 11 retail stores. Seesaw Graphics is now well prepared and expecting a new chapter: to reach out to more customers not only by its stamps, but also by sharing its American dream.
